Wie bereits erwähnt, hatte ich Freitag erst am Nachmittag um 14:30 bis 18:30 Uhr Schule und so nutzte ich die Zeit für meinen ersten Ausflug in den Parque Cretacico. Dort wurde 1994 bei Ausgrabungen die grösste Ansammlung von über 5000 Dinosaurierspuren von min. 8 verschiedenen Sauriern gefunden. Zudem begegnet man überall viele nachgebildete Dinos in Originalgrösse!

As mentioned before, on Friday I had a spare morning until 2:30 as my Spanish classes were switched to the afternoon. Of course I took the opportunity to go on my fist excursion and visited the Parque Cretacico where in 1994 more than 5000 tracks of at least 8 different dinosaurs were found. When walking around you also meet lots of replicas in their original size!

Hotel La Posada; Sucre

Am Samstag versuchte ich auszuschlafen, war aber schon früh wach und ging um 9 Uhr auf meine ‘Rennstrecke‘. Während die Waschmaschine meine Wäsche wusch packte ich meinen Koffer fürs Wochenende, hängte die saubere Wäsche an die Sonne und nahm ein Taxi ins Hotel La Posada (http://www.hotellaposada.com.bo/). Wie ich diesen Nachmittag im Bikini auf meiner riesigen Terrasse mit Sicht auf die Dächer von Sucre genoss! Und erst meine Badewanne! Es war so herrlich, dass ich gar nicht mehr aus dem Hotel ging und das Abendessen im herrlich duftenden Garten zu mir nahm und versuchte an meinem Blog weiterzuschreiben… aber es gesellte sich Gustavo, ein Reiseführer, zu mir und wir plauderten und tranken eine Flasche super bolivianischen Weisswein…

Saturday I tried to sleep in but awoke early and went for a run around 9 am. While my laundry was washed in the machine I packed my suitcase for the weekend, hung my clean clothes in the sun, got a taxi and drove to the hotel La Posada (http://www.hotellaposada.com.bo/). How I enjoyed that day in the sun on my huge terrace looking over the roofs of Sucre! And even more the bathtub thereafter! I didn’t leave the hotel anymore and went for dinner sitting in the garden with fragrant flowers where I tried to write the last post… but I got company from Gustavo, a guide, and we had a wonderful conversation with a bottle of white Bolivian wine…

Am Sonntag ging mein Wecker um 7:30 Uhr. Ich machte mich bereit, packte den Koffer und ging zum Frühstück, das ich wieder im Garten genoss. Kurz vor 9 Uhr machte ich mich auf zum Plaza 25 de Mayo, wo um 9 Uhr mein Bus nach Tarabuco losfuhr. Das 3200 m hohe Andendorf, wo jeden Sonntag ein riesiger Markt stattfindet, liegt 65 südöstlich von Sucre und ist mit dem Bus in 1 ½ Std. zu erreichen. Diesmal schlug auch ich zu: 2 Jacken (dafür ist es jetzt richtig heiss und abends mild!), 2 Hosen, Gewürze etc. und dann halt noch eine Reisetasche… (Mel: Das wäre was für dich gewesen!!!). Von einem Vergnügen ging es ins nächste, in ein Restaurant, wo verschiedene Tänze vorgeführt wurden.

Zurück in Sucre ging ich zum Hotel La Posada um meinen Koffer abzuholen und setzte mich nochmals in den herrlichen Garten und schrieb meinen letzten Post fertig. Ich bestellte mir ein Taxi und fuhr zu DER Churrasqueria in Sucre: Cumana – und es war wirklich so toll wie mir von vielen vorgeschwärmt worden war! Diesmal fragte ich gleich ob es auch Portionen für eine Person gab… aber ich hatte auch Mühe mit einer halbe Portion von 250 Gramm! Um 21 Uhr fuhr mich ein Taxi mit all meinem Gepäck (Koffer, neue volle Reistasche und Laptop) vor die Haustür an der Calle Junin 1167. Hier macht übrigens das Taxifahren wirklich Spass für 4-7 Bolivanos pro Fahrt (USD 0.60  - 1)!!!

Sunday my alarm clock woke me up at 7:30. I got ready, packed my suitcase and went down for breakfast which again I enjoyed in the sunny garden. Shortly before 9 am I walked to the Plaza 25 de Mayo where my bus to Tarabuco left at 9 am. This 65 km southeast from Sucre situated village in the Andes (3200 m) has a big market every Sunday and can be reached within 1 ½ hours by bus. This time I went shopping: 2 jackets (I have no idea if I will use them, as it is very hot now and mild at night!), 2 trousers, some spices and at the end a small suitcase to carry everything home… After the fun on shopping I went to a nice restaurant where they performed different dances.

Back in Sucre I walked to the hotel where I had left my suitcase and once more sat down in the garden to finally finish my last post. I ordered a taxi which drove me to THE churrasqueria of Sucre: Cumana – and in fact it was as delicious as everybody had warned me! This time I asked if they had portions for one person… but I even had difficulties to finish my half portion of 250 grams! At 9 pm a taxi drove me and all my baggage (suitcase, a new full small suitcase and my laptop) in front of the door of Calle Junin 1167. By the way: Here it is big fun taking a cab for 4-7 Bolivianos per ride (USD 0.60 -1)!!!
