Heute Morgen erwachte ich um 8 Uhr und weil ich um 9 Uhr mit Germán abgemacht hatte zu frühstücken, ging ich erst in der Sonne am See entlang joggen und auf dem Rückweg beim Ausflugsanbieter vorbei um mich über Ausflüge zur Capille de Mármol zu informieren. So wie es aussah war die nächste und sehr wahrscheinlich einzige Tour in 10 Minuten… ich fragte im Hotel, ob ich auch erst um 11 Uhr frühstücken könnte, zog mir warme Kleider über, holte den Fotoapparat und los ging es mit dem Boot zum unterhöhlten und polierten Marmormassiv!
This morning I woke up at 8 am and because I had arranged with Germán to have breakfast with him at 9 am I first went for a run along the lake and informed myself about excursions to the Capille de Mármol on the way back. It seemed as if the next and very likely only tour would start within 10 minutes… I asked Irma at the hotel if I could have breakfast only at 11 am, slipped on some warm clothes, grabbed my camera and off we went by boat to the hollowed out and polished massif of marble!

Zwei Stunden später sass ich am Frühstück mit frischen Brötchen, die Irma jeden Tag selber backt! Ich entschied mich spontan noch eine Nacht zu bleiben, mich in diesem ruhigen Ort etwas zu entspannen und am Nachmittag am Laptop zu arbeiten. German, den ich gestern Abend hier kennen gelernt habe, arbeitet für die Telecomfirma Entel und hat mir für heute seinen USB-Stecker fürs Internet dagelassen! So genoss ich einen ruhigen Tag und konnte vieles erledigen, unter anderem reservierte ich ein Hotel in Punta Arenas und packte meine Koffer neu…
Two hours later I sat at breakfast with fresh rolls which Irma bakes herself every day! I spontaneously decided to stay another night to relax in this calm place and work on my laptop in the afternoon. Germán who I got to know last night works for the telecom company Entel and left this morning his pen drive for the internet for me! (German: thank you so much!) So I enjoyed a relaxing day and got lots of things sorted out, amongst others I booked a hotel in Punta Arenas and repacked my suitcases…

Um 15:30 Uhr kam Germán zurück, setzte sich an meinen Tisch und wir arbeiteten ungefähr 3 Stunden jeder an seinem Laptop, genossen einen oder zwei Pisco Sour und wechselten uns mit der Musik aus unseren iTunes ab! Zum Abschluss genossen wir ein gemütliches Abendessen mit einer Flasche Rotwein und um 22 Uhr befand ich mich schon todmüde in den tiefsten Träumen!

At 3:30 pm Germán was already back from work, sat on my table and we worked about 3 hours enjoying a Pisco Sour or two and switched titles of our iTunes! To finish the day we had a nice dinner with a bottle of red wine and already at 10 pm I fell into my bed in deep dreams…
