Heute Morgen erwachten wir im Paradies… lauter Schönheit um uns herum! Obwohl ich mich kaum satt sehen konnte ging ich trotzdem vor dem Frühstück am Strand joggen – natürlich barfuss und im Bikini – und danach schwimmen im Meer. Das Frühstück nahmen wir auf der Terrasse des Restaurants am Strand ein…
Danach checkte ich uns für unseren Flug am Abend nach Belem im Internet ein und liess die Boarding Pässe von Alex ausdrucken. Er rief auch Cleo von der Autovermietung an, dass wir nicht wie vereinbart um 13 Uhr in Fortaleza, sondern erst um 18:30 Uhr direkt im Flughafen sein würden. Da es bewölkt war und ich schon lange keine neuen Posts mehr geschrieben hatte, entschied ich mich am Laptop zu bleiben und alles zu erledigen… und ich schaffte es bis wir um 15 Uhr auscheckten und uns auf den Weg nach Fortaleza machten!
Da wir früh dran waren machten wir vor Fortaleza einen WC- und Kokosnusshalt. In der Stadt war dann doch viel Verkehr, aber wir erreichten den Flughafen rechtzeitig. Wir gaben unsere Koffer auf und schon stand Cleo da und nahm unser Chevröli entgegen. : (
Der 2-stündige Flug nach Belem war pünktlich und wir landeten kurz vor 22 Uhr. Carlos holte uns ab und führte uns ins Hotel Sagres (www.hotelsagres.com) und dann direkt ins Restaurant Xicara da Silva, wo wir um 23 Uhr einen ausgezeichneten Fisch und Açai und Taipioca Sorbets genossen…

This morning we woke up in paradise… nothing but beauty around us! Although I couldn’t get enough of it I went for a run along the beach before breakfast – barefoot and in my bikini of course – and thereafter swimming in the ocean. Our breakfast we had on the terrace of the restaurant on the beach…
Thereafter I did the web check-in for our flight to Belem tonight and had the boarding passes printed out by Alex. He also called Cleo from the car rental to tell him that we would drive directly to the airport of Fortaleza and be there at 6:30 pm instead of meeting him in town at 1 pm as previously agreed upon. It was overcast and I hadn’t had time to write new posts so I decided to stay with my laptop and catch up… and I really accomplished everything before we checked out at 3 pm and hit the road to Fortaleza! (Erich and Alex: Thank you sooo much for everything and make it possible for us to stay 1 day in paradise!!!)
We were early and so made a stop to go to the bathroom and have a fresh coconut before entering Fortaleza. In town there was heavy traffic but we reached the airport on time. We dropped off our luggage and met Cleo who took over our little Chevrolet. : (
The 2-hours flight to Belem was on time and we landed shortly before 10 pm. Carlos picked us up and drove us to the Hotel Sagres (www.hotelsagres.com) and then directly to the restaurant Xicara da Silva, where we had a delicious fish and sorbets of açai and taipioca around 11 pm…
