Da ich schon früh wach war, ging ich noch vor dem Frühstück joggen und kehrte bei Palmira und Jaime in ihrem Barista zu einem doppelten Espresso ein… das Lokal ist so hübsch und der Kaffee so gut, dass ich ihr sagen musste wie schade es ist, dass man von unten auf der Strasse keine Ahnung hat, wie es hier oben im ersten Stock aussieht…

Nach dem Frühstück hatten wir das Briefing unseres Trekkings mit Leo, unserem Reiseleiter der Wonderland Tours (www.cuscowonderlandtour.com). Danach wussten wir, was wir zu packen hatten: Einen Rucksack und den Rest in einen grossen Seesack, der von einem Maultier getragen wird - es kam mir vor, als seien wir ständig am Packen… Da wir noch richtige Wandersocken, Wein und Zwischenproviant brauchten, machten wir uns wieder auf um einzukaufen. Natürlich hat es auch noch viele andere Geschäfte hier, so dass Nadine sich super schönen Schmuck kaufte und ich einen Alpaca-Pulli!
After breakfast we had the briefing concerning our trekking with Leo, our tour guide of Wonderland Tours (www.cuscowonderlandtour.com). Now we knew what we had do pack: A backpack and the rest went into a big baffle bag which a mule will carry for us – it seemed to me as we were packing all the time! As we needed some good hiking socks, wine and snacks we went shopping again. Of course there are lots of other shops in Cuzco as well, so that Nadine bought herself beautiful jewellery and I got myself an Alpaca jumper!

Am Nachmittag kehrten wir mit Fotoapparat ins Barista ein und veranstalteten ein richtiges Fotoshooting: Ich arrangierte und fotografierte und Nadine fingierte als Model und meine Muse (Doris: Nur du als Visagistin und Layouterin hast gefehlt – so könnten wir um die ganze Welt reisen und einige Geschäfte aufpeppen!).
Um 16 Uhr hatte ich meinen Zahnarzttermin und musste 30 Minuten warten, weil so viele Leute im Wartzimmer waren. Ich hatte eine weitere 30-minütige Vorbehandlung und musste um 18:30 Uhr zurückkommen um das Bell Glass-Teil einsetzen zu lassen. Als ich pünktlich wiedererschien, kam ich trotz Wartenden gleich dran und 45 Minuten später verliess ich Dr. Rosell Pinto Pazos erleichtert mit einem tadellosen neuen Backenzahn und um 550 Soles (= Fr. 180!)! Nadine genoss unterdessen eine stündige Fussreflexzonenmassage ; )
Unsere Wäsche war abhol- und wieder packbereit und später genossen wir ein gutes Essen im Restaurant Sara…

In the afternoon we went back to the Barista with my camera and had a fotoshooting: I arranged and took pictures and Nadine was my model and muse.
At 4 pm I had an appointment with my dentist and had to wait for half an hour because there were lots of people waiting. I had another 30-minutes’ preparation and to return at 6:30 pm to have the bell glass component inserted. I appeared on time, had another treatment of 45 minutes and left Dr. Rosell Pinto Pazos relieved with a new tooth and parted from 550 Soles (=USD 200!)! Nadine enjoyed a reflexology in the meantime… ; )
Our laundry was ready to pick up and pack, later we had a delicious dinner at the Restaurant Sara…
